Let's shade in the picture.

These are a few drawings I did over the summer for an art class. It's too bad, really, that graphite doesn't show up on the camera quite as well as I imagined it would. But I think you get the picture.. My button shoes make me laugh- my teacher told the class on the very first day to grab a pencil and to sketch the shoes we were wearing in ten minutes! It was quite endearing, to say the least. :)

I really do apologize for the lack of posts recently. I have fallen ill with the miserable cold, and I have had so much homework it makes my head spin! But thankfully, life is getting back on track and I can focus on a quick recovery.

Valentine's Day is so much more than buying over-priced flowers and sending nicely-wrapped boxes of chocolates. It's about appreciating and loving the people and things in your life.

I wanted to say thank you so much to everyone following my blog. It really means the world to me that I have created this whole new community of friends in my life; I'm just about ecstatic with every new comment I receive. :)
