A Little French Tune.

tu m'inspires
tout le bon
le meilleur
meilleur que des bon bons l'amour
tu m'inspires tant d'amour...

Asilomar - California

Feast your eyes upon these turquoise waves. Lucky me, for this is exactly where I will be for the next three days. I plan to revel in the crisp ocean air and the soothing crashing of the waves-- ahh, the magical powers of the sea, for how they do enchant me so very much.

Are you spellbound, dear reader?

Julie & Julia

For any of you lovely readers who have not seen the movie Julie & Julia, I must insist that you head out to your local video store and rent it this very instant. It truly is just a darling little movie-- I haven't smiled so much watching a movie in.. well, I'm not entirely sure. Julie's experience got me thinking, however. Why couldn't I be like her? Why couldn't, or shouldn't, I start a goal for myself-- a big one-- and set out to accomplish it? I'll have to get back to you on that one.. I'm still contemplating my ideas...

In the meantime, here are some littler (is that a word?) goals for my new year:

[1] Take pictures. Lots of pictures.
[2] Learn how to sew. It's something I've always wanted to do.
[3] Stay faithful to this blog. It's all so brand new to me, but I plan to dedicate a blog entry at least once a week, considering my busy school-life and everything outside of it...
[4] Be open-minded. There's nothing wrong with considering other options..
[5] Eat an apple every day. I love fruit; don't you, too?

Here's a little thought to chew on
(my favorite Jamba Juice saying):
Fruit is good, cake is good. How did fruitcake go so wrong?

Hope I made you smile. :]
