Seventeen Going On Eighteen

Ah, yes. I am celebrating my birthday this Sunday, on August 1st! It's so hard to believe that I'm actually turning eighteen; it's still such a puzzling thought to me! All of my friends are going to be out of town, so I'm thinking about going bowling with my parents and then spending the evening at a nice restaurant for dinner. But, oh! If only I could have a grandiose summer party, and decorate with splendor! Now wouldn't that be exciting? Above I have enclosed a photo of something quite genius: a French macaroon croquembouche! While normally a croquembouche is made using cream puffs, I thought it was just a splendid idea to use the whimsical colors of the macaroons to play it up a bit. Isn't it just darling? If I were to have a party, I would wish to have it look something along these lines:

Wouldn't it be lovely? :)

Well, my hair was very black for awhile and then I went more to medium brown ( closer to my natural color ). I will share some pictures of me and Stephen in San Francisco and my hair is much lighter as well.
I'm so happy that my comments make YOU happy! haha I would love to be penpals. I have all my info on my contacts link. :)
I wish I could see more pictures of Jake and you!! And don't worry about the not commenting thing...even before we were dating he followed my blog and I his ( he hasn't posted in over a year ) he would read it but never comment. I've come to learn that you can't make guys do that sorta thing. I'm not sure how blogging turned into a woman's thing...but it did. haha So after he finishes the "How we met" post...I don't think I'll bug him anymore.

I've never tried macaroons before, but I really want to! Oh and happy birthday! :)

I was wondering if you would take the time to have a look at my poll to help me decide the name I'm going to call my new blog. I've already come up with a list of names, but need some help in choosing the best one! Here's the link:

Thankyou! x
