There's something quite lovely and captivating about the light glowing around this dress. It's such a simple photograph, yet it leaves me in awe! The source is unknown; if anyone knows it, please let me know!
Oh, exhaustion.
Late nights of homework.
Unfortunate Internet breakdowns.
A million things to do,
but no time to do it.
I won't deny that I have been driven to a point of pure exhaustion these past two weeks. It's so hard to keep up with life with a full schedule of school, a million assignments due each day, a million activities after school... I guess there's only so much one can do, right?
And yet, I'm happy. I asked someone to the Sadie Hawkins school dance! I don't know what ever gave me the courage to do it, but I don't regret it one bit. How did I ask him, you ask? Well, imagine walking into your classroom and finding a balloon with your name; and when you pop the balloon, there's a scroll wrapped up in ribbon, with a message inside for you! It was extremely exciting, to say the least
. :)
And... guess what? He said, "Yes!" The dance is tomorrow night, and I am so ecstatic! The theme this year is Dancing Through the Decades, so we're dressing up in the fifties: I have a poodle skirt, he's getting a leather jacket-- it's a flashback to Grease, is it not? Oh, goodness, I'm so excited, and
nervous at the same time! Wish me luck!
I am on the look-out for my prom dress. I didn't attend prom last year, and I'm excited to see what it's going to be like. Here's a dress I found at Anthropologie and I instantly fell in love with. You can go
here to scroll over the picture and better see all of the delicate lacework! What do you think?
So, all in all, I'm sorry for the long post; I'm sorry for the awful lack of posts. Thanks for always giving me hope and joy in updating my blog. You all are such sweet, dear people. I simply cannot thank you enough.
loves.
